How custom production works
Custom pen production starts with a conversation. First we clarify what type of pen you need, who it is for and what character it should have.
After the consultation we choose the material, shape, mechanism and details. With fountain pens we also discuss the nib and how the pen will be used. With ballpoints and rollerballs, refill availability, practicality and hand feel matter.
Every pen is made by hand, so individual pieces can differ slightly. That is the point of custom work. The result is not an anonymous product, but an original writing instrument made for a specific person.
